Phosphor Bronze Round Bar Description
One of either of the two grades will be supplied:
PB1-Good corrosion resistance, for use as bearing material, excellent mechanical and high fatigue strength.
PB102 – Good corrosion resistance, for use in engineering components subject to friction, also contact material for fasteners and masonry fixings.
Our Phosphor Bronze Round Bar are made from a copper alloy that contains tin and phosphorus, which enhance its strength, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance. The addition of phosphorus improves hardness and stiffness, making phosphor bronze round bars an ideal choice for high-performance and long-lasting components. At ABS Metals our Phosphor bronze round bars are available in various grades, diameters, and lengths, ensuring suitability for a wide range of applications. These bars are commonly used in precision engineering, marine hardware, electrical components, and automotive parts.
Tolerances
We always endeavour to cut as accurately as possible and never to undercut.
Our acceptable tolerances are as follows:
Cut sheet: -0/+1mm.
Cut metal lengths: -0/+1mm.
Delivery
Where do we deliver to?
Currently we only deliver to the UK mainland for orders taken through the website, however, if you live outside this area please give us a call to see if we can supply to your location.
What are the delivery charges?
The delivery charges are included in the price of your order, they are automatically calculated depending on the size and weight of your order, and the number of units of your order. This makes our postage charges accurate and competitive unlike other sites that charge a flat rate no matter how small your order is.
Who do we use for delivery?
For smaller deliveries we use Royal Mail recorded delivery. For all other deliveries we use APC Overnight. Whilst we cannot offer a specified time for delivery, all APC deliveries will be between 8.00am & 4.30.
When will I get my order?
We aim to get all parcels out for delivery by the next working day. If for any reason we have a problem with your order we will contact you, we will not leave you guessing as to where your order is.
We do not work weekends or on bank holidays, that may seem old fashioned but we are a family business and family time is important to us.
